conducted a series of training workshops between 10th and 16th August on Perineal Trauma Scanning and Repair.

 

The training was accredited by the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and comprised of a theoretical component and a hands-on practical component on animal models, with the aim to develop doctors’ and midwives’ knowledge and clinical skills in this field.

 

The training targeted OBGYN departments at government and private hospitals, 59 participants of OBGYN specialist doctors, resident doctors and midwives participated in the training course, which was implemented by a group of international and national experts.
