2022 STEPwise Survey

The WHO STEPwise approach to Surveillance is a simple, standardized method for collecting, analysing and disseminating data in WHO member countries. The escalating level of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents is of particular concern, given the fact that changes in food habits are evident in all Eastern Mediterranean countries. Palestine has conducted a national STEPwise Survey in 2022

PNIPH ResponseCOVID-19 Pandemic

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Palestine, PNIPH has worked together with the Ministry of Health and local partners to quickly mobilize response efforts, including the development of the National COVID-19 Surveillance System, participation in multiple studies to assess the epidemiological and social impacts of the virus, and building the capacity of frontline health workers.
